Non-Refundable Donations
Donations to Indigent Car Care Inc. are generally non-refundable. This is standard policy for 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. Once a donation is processed, it is committed to funding our programs and cannot typically be returned.
Donation Errors
We understand that mistakes happen. If you believe a donation was made in error — for example, you were charged the wrong amount, a duplicate transaction occurred, or you did not authorize the donation — please contact us as soon as possible.
We review all error claims on a case-by-case basis and will make every effort to resolve genuine mistakes promptly and fairly. Refunds for documented errors are issued at our discretion.
To report a donation error, please contact us within 30 days of the transaction date.
Recurring Donations
If you set up a recurring donation and wish to cancel or modify it, please contact us before the next scheduled processing date. We will honor all cancellation requests made in advance. Recurring donations already processed are subject to the same non-refundable policy above.
Restricted Gifts
If you would like your donation directed toward a specific program or purpose, please contact us before donating to confirm that we can honor your intent. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all donations are treated as unrestricted gifts and will be used where the need is greatest.
